A Certificate of Analysis is a formal document issued by an accredited analytical laboratory confirming the identity, purity, and safety of a compound. It records the test method used, the reference standard, the analyst, and the laboratory's accreditation details.
For research purposes, a COA is not optional — it is the minimum standard for knowing that the compound you are working with matches the compound described in the published literature. Without it, you are guessing.
Every COA in this library was issued by an independent, ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. None of these documents were produced by Vertex Labs.
Four fields that tell the full story.
- Purity % — The percentage of the sample confirmed to be the target compound by HPLC analysis. Vertex Labs sets a minimum threshold of 98%. Most batches exceed 99%.
- Method — The analytical technique used. HPLC-UV is the industry standard for purity quantification. Mass spectrometry (MS) confirms molecular identity.
- Laboratory — The name of the independent testing facility and their ISO 17025 accreditation number. You can verify this directly with the accreditation body.
- Result — The final classification: PASS or FAIL. Vertex Labs only dispatches batches with a PASS result across all tested parameters.
